Ingredients
  

  • 3 eggs, yolks and whites separated
  • 90 grams sugar
  • 90 grams  melted butter
  • 90 grams flour
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 375 ml milk

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

    Beat the egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy.

      Add water, melted butter, flour, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing well.

        Gradually add the milk, ensuring a smooth and lump-free batter.

          In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

            Gently fold the egg whites into the batter until well combined.

              Pour the batter into a prepared baking dish and bake for about 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the layers are set.

                Allow the cake to cool before dusting with confectioners’ sugar if desired.
